Noah's Arc
Sawyer has been sick this past week. At first it was just a stinkin' sinus infection. Then it just got worse and worse. Poor Sawyer only wanted mom to hold him and cuddle him all week. By Friday night he had a fever and a cough on top of a horribly stuffy drippy nose. He wouldn't sleep at all and just cried and cried. Saturday he had a fever and cried and cried. By Saturday night he had no voice. He couldn't even squeek. I (mom) was so worried about him Saturday night because he couldn't even make enough noise to make the baby monitor off. So, with Jake's (dad) suggestion, Sawyer was invited onto the arc. The arc at our house includes a nice big cozy bed, with fluffy blankets and pillows, Mom and Dad, Dosh the dog and Kitty the Cat...and several of Dosh's stuffed animals. When Sawyer joined the arc some extra safe gaurds were added. He slept in the top middle of the bed in the safety of the boppy. This way no one could roll over on him and he wouldn't get lost in the fluffy blankets, pillows, animals and stuffed animals. Luckily we all got a great sleep, even though Sawyer was burning up with a fever, couldn't breathe through his nose and kept coughing. Now, Sawyer is starting to feel better and he has been evicted from the Arc. I'm starting to wonder if I am glad he has been evicted. I'm crossing my fingers we all survive the night!
