Well, March started out great. Sawyer and I were running 3 times a week in the morning. We were getting into a great routine with cooking and cleaning and dog training...then we found out Sawyer is going to be a big brother. Then I got sick and everything went downhill. It ended on a fun note though when we went to visit the Wakefields out in San Diego. We had so much fun. Ollie is such a good influence on Sawyer. He is the most polite adventurous little guy ever. And Sawyer loved baby Mae. We got to go to the zoo with them and Sea World as well as the "snake" park and Sawyer loved all the toys at the Wakefields. (Sorry Ollie that Sawyer doesn't understand sharing yet, but thank you thank you for letting him play with all your toys!)
Sawyer loved the zoo and sea world. At the zoo he kept pointing at the monkeys making monkey sounds and he kept wanting to see the birds. At sea world he got to feed the sea lions and was just laughing at their noisy barking. He loved the dolphins and he LOVED the fish tanks. He kept signing "more fish" and would run from tank to tank. He clapped for the sea lion show and shamu. He just loved it. Unfortunately we got soooo sunburned because the airport made us throw away our sunscreen. (it was more than 4oz so it couldn't be a carry on.) He got dehydrated and threw up and then he screamed and screamed all night. I felt HORRIBLE! Unfortunately I got really dehydrated and sick too. We were both a mess, but Jake was nice and took good care of the both of us.
When we got home Sawyer was soooo  happy to see the dogs and the dogs were soooo happy to see him. I didn't realize that Basil liked Sawyer as much as she does, but since we got back she has been following him wherever he goes and licks him to pieces.
Now it is April and I guess we'll see how everything goes this month.
