Happy New Years, you get the flu! We (Jake and I) brought in the New Year with the flu. Sawyer lucked out though...he got over the flu for the new year. For the first 2 weeks Sawyer was raised by animals, but I already mentioned the things that came out of that spell. After the flu, we had lots of visitors. We started training the dogs (officially). So, our sweet friend and now dog trainer has been visiting and helping out SO much! Sawyer loved it coming so much he was even trying to do all the tricks with the dogs. "Basil, Dosh, go to bed (Basil, Dosh and Sawyer go to blanket in kitchen)...sit (Basil, Dosh, and Sawyer sit), click, treat (Sawyer holds out hand for dog treat)".
We also had lots of visits with Sawyer's cousins. Beckett adn jay came a couple times, Bris and Ash came, and little Emma came. It was fun to see Sawyer interact with all his cousins. He acts differently with each of them. Beckett and Sawyer played together: drawing, stacking blocks, singing, playing the keyboard and wandering the house. Sawyer and Bris drew together, but mostly they crawled around chasing each other and playing peek-a-boo. They also cuddled up on the couch and attempted a nap. Sawyer and Emma wandered the house chasing the dogs and throwing toys at them. Then they cuddled on the couch and Emma had her hand on Sawyer's knee while he played with her hair.
So cute! Sawyer is so lucky to get to play with cousins so much! My poor children have to content themselves with videos of cousins. We do get to skype occasionally so it's not too bad. I love the dog training! Before you know it he'll be as well trained as the dogs :D
